Aileen graduated with a degree in Fine Art Painting from the National College of Art and Design in Dublin and has since exhibited her work internationally. Her most recent solo exhibition was at the Linenhall Arts Centre in Mayo, Ireland. In 2024, she received an honorary mention for her piece at the Paper Art Biennial (XII Biennal d’Art Riudebitlles), exhibited at Cal Xerta and Museo Molí Paperer in Capellades.
Growing up in rural Ireland, Aileen was surrounded by green landscapes, wild skies, and flowing rivers—elements that continue to inspire her work. Creativity was always encouraged in her home, sparking her early love for drawing and making. In addition to her art practice, Aileen studied Art, Craft, and Design Education at NCAD and has enjoyed teaching art for many years. Her work is included in several public collections, including the Arts Council of Ireland and the Office of Public Works, Ireland.
